Classical & Deep Tissue Massage
Classical (or Swedish) massage focuses mainly on surface tension and relaxation. Five styles of long, fluid movements are generally used: effleurage (gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (transverse fibers), and pulsating or micro movements. The popularity of classical massage is proportional to its effectiveness, especially in reducing physical pain and muscle stiffness, but also mental unrest and anxiety. In short, it is a complete relaxation of your body and state of mind. This is the basis of my Relax Massage.
Deep tissue massage is a more therapeutic technique that applies sustained pressure and friction to the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This targeted approach provides more effective relief from chronic pain, stiffness and limited mobility. This therapeutic technique is central to my Release Massage
